About me
Michael has been supporting people for over 16 years and counselling for the past 12. Initial he worked as a counsellor at a Sexual Abuse and Rape Advice Centre. He also then counseled at the UK's first male mental health charity The Eaton Foundation. He has experience working with addictions and has recently developed, set up and implemented a gambling harms support service. Along side this he has worked privately since 2015.
Clinical Approach
Michael works from a trauma informed basis implementing and integration of humanistic approaches namely person centred and solution focused therapy. All of the work he undertakes is collaborative and client led, knowing that when an individual takes personal responsibility for their recovery it is long lasting.
