About me
With over 14 years as a therapist and Senior Accredited Member of the National Counselling and Psychotherapy Society, my journey began with a deep desire to help others. A short counseling course confirmed this calling, inspiring me to complete a degree in Humanistic Counselling in 2010. I am committed to creating a safe, compassionate space for individuals to explore challenges and achieve meaningful change.
I offer personalised therapy for diverse mental health challenges and life transitions, addressing issues like anxiety, depression, grief, relationship difficulties, spirituality, sexuality, and work stress. While I work broadly, I specialise in trauma-informed therapy, particularly for those who have experienced sexual trauma. I have worked with sexual trauma for the past 14 years. My approach is compassionate and non-judgmental, focused on building trust, empowerment, and resilience.
Driven by a commitment to help clients find self-compassion and resilience, I believe in each person’s capacity for growth. It’s a privilege to support clients on their path to meaningful, lasting change.
Clinical Approach
I work with a Humanistic integrative approach that is trauma-focused, drawing from a range of therapeutic modalities to meet each client’s unique needs. This approach combines techniques from Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Solution-Focused Brief Therapy, Person-Centred, Gestalt, and Existential therapies, allowing for a tailored and effective response to each client’s challenges. By integrating these methods, I provide a structured, adaptable approach that supports clients in addressing trauma and making meaningful progress.
