In Germany, Weißer Ring is the biggest nationwide active victim support organization. They offer personal counseling, court accompaniment, and assistance with legal paperwork to protect victims' rights during criminal proceedings. With a network of 3000 volunteers, they provide one-on-one assistance professionally and compassionately.

Opferhilfe Bayern


In Bavaria, victims of crime can apply for grants through Opferhilfe Bayern to get compensated for material and immaterial damages. These grants support victims who were residents of Bavaria at the time of the crime or if the crime occurred there, extending also to close relatives affected by the act. This initiative offers financial assistance to help victims manage the aftermath of a crime, including covering costs of legal support.


Beratungsstellen Opferhilfen


Beratungsstellen Opferhilfen is a network of counseling centers offering support to victims and witnesses of crime. They provide free services such as accompanying victims to legal consultations or authorities, and discussing possible next steps. Austria


Männerwelten 


Männerwelten provides man-to-man counseling services in Salzburg, Zell am See, and Mittersill. They offer free and confidential legal consultations by phone every Tuesday from 4 PM to 6 PM. Call them at +43 664 8000 6 8064.


Czech Republic


Bílý kruh bezpečí (BKB)


Bílý kruh bezpečí (BKB) provides legal information and practical advice to crime victims through its 12 offices across 9 regions of the Czech Republic: Prague, Brno, České Budějovice, Jihlava, Liberec, Olomouc, Ostrava, Pilsen, and Pardubice. Their services include offering basic legal information, guidance on obtaining damages and financial compensation from the state, and empowering victims to navigate dealings with authorities.
